A sod crew that builders kept calling back
Fernanda Miranda started with one sod truck and a rule: send a bid a superintendent can read in a minute, and show up on the day you said.
Builders asked for the same crew on their next section, and then for sprinklers and trees from the same crew, so the firm grew into the four trades it bids today. It is still run from the yard in Katy, and the owner still reads every bid before it goes out.
